On a leafy street in Sherman Oaks, near Petit Trois and Hank's Bagels, a 1935 home was thoughtfully reimagined for a growing family. What began as a modest remodel evolved over two years into a full renovation and 1,000-square-foot addition—an effort to modernize the home while staying rooted in the neighborhood they love.

MAAM collaborated and Jillian Sipkins Interiors to breathe new life into the home which balances warmth, function, and timeless California style. Traditional details and subtle nautical influences woven throughout the home pay tribute to family history and legacy.

More than a renovation, the project reflects a deep connection to community, thoughtful design, and creating a home that feels both modern and enduring.
