MAAM at Passive House Conference 2026

MAAM’s Meredith McDaniel recently attended the 2026 Passive House Network Conference in New Haven, Connecticut, where she presented Marathon House—an award-winning, fire-resistive prototype home in Altadena, California. Developed in response to the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, the project was designed to achieve Passive House certification while advancing resilient, high-performance residential design. The presentation was moderated by Annie Barrett of Aanda Architects and was presented alongside Darin Dusan of Joubert Homes.
